Mirrors in the Desert
This exquisite installation artwork was made by Phillip K Smith III from a found wooden shack that was fallling to pieces slowly in the Joshua Tree desert, California. He left the shack as it stood, replacing the beams with reflectuve mirrors to who the surroundings they faced. Part trompe l'oeil, part panoramic alternative view, it makes a restful and compelling artwork of stunning proportions. I put it here without much to say so you could look for yourself: click READ MORE to see it full-size.
